Biography
Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy, Director of Clinical Education, PT, DPT, PhD. Dr. Steven Halcrow is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of North Dakota. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Higher Education from the University of North Dakota. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Dr. Halcrow teaches in the areas of clinical examination and evaluation, therapeutic exercise, and biophysical agents. He is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and a Level 1 Clinical Instructor Trainer. From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Halcrow served as Co-Director of Clinical Education and currently serves as Director of Clinical Education for the Department of Physical Therapy. His clinical interests include orthopedics and sports medicine. His scholarly interests focus on clinical education, healthcare education, and improving healthcare education and outcomes for diverse patient populations.
